University of Chester

Chester is a small city, lying on the River Dee, closed to Wales. This is not only a historical city but quite and interesting for international students. Beside your education you can visit some beautiful locations here. For example, Chester Cathedral, Chester boats, Chester Museum, City Walls and the Clock Tower are some of the famous places for student that are often to be seen by the students while commuting inside the city. These are located within the city center and during the weekends you can experience many visitors coming to the city. Chester races is one of the famous place inside the city where people from different part of the world come to see riding horses competition.

The University is a five minute walk from most of these attractions but it shouldn’t be more than ten minutes. The city is not only attractive for international students but it attracts tourists coming from other parts of the country or European countries.

The football playground, gym and other sports centers within the University attracts students too. In spare time student can play and enjoy being with other international students to gain multinational experience. Being part of the University, I am enjoying my life though I am here for one year Master Program and will leave in March 2015 with some good memories.

Attitude shapes a culture that distinguishes nations. Sometimes, a little makes a major difference.

Most of us have heard the phrase “A little makes a big difference”. If you deeply get into it, you can find that this really is a true story. A penny will add to a pound, a drop blood can save a life and an attitude adopted by a person can change the nation. Hazrat Mohammad (Peace Be upon Him) is an example, who changed the Arabs one by one until the entire nation was changed. A nation that was burying their daughters alive while giving birth to a female child.

Another practical example in our today’s life would be when we buy an item from a shop or a store we don’t want to go to the shop or store that the shopkeeper or its employee is not behaving well. Instead we prefer a store with good employee attitudes. Similarly, if you are abroad committing something wrong or against the law of the country you are living. It is not you but you are representing your whole nation.

Shape not only yourself but your nation and adopt a behavior that is well deserved. Be positive through good attitude.

Afghan Elections 2014 (2nd round).

The main reason that I hate politics is because if you are a politician you care for yourself even if it harms others. The second round of the 2014 election in Afghanistan is complete but still presidential candidates are either using the people for their benefits or the Afghan Government to prove that the election was not factual, though nobody is talking that how could the first round be realistic. They are taking the maximum advantages to benefit in order to be the upcoming president of the country. A person who can kill civilian, harm people and do anything for the presidency, what will be your expectation from him. Although, he is not the president he is doing what he wants to benefit himself. Think what can he do if he is the Precedent.

Considering the taxi driver whose car was broken in the anti-election by the protesters of one of the candidate. The family and children of the taxi driver were waiting for him to bring food when he gets back home in the evening. That evening, he was hopeless when he returned home. Are we voting such candidates to take our meals or for the hope of better future. What will happen if this would have happened to one of the candidates (hard to imagine).

Taking responsibility of thousands of people is not an easy job. Even taking the responsibility of a ten members family is tough. But these days for the sake of earning money, falsified fame and to compete others in term on wealth is becoming famous. It will be worth to mention that when Hazrat Omar Farookh (R.a) was elected as the governor he could not sleep during nights and he was out to see if someone is in need of help. He was feeling responsibility and accountable for others. Being among poor will teach you what they are and how it looks, but being with comfort can't teach you how a poor look.

I am not in favour of one candidate or the other but I am still thinking how these candidates can manipulate Afghans. Mr. Ghani 's quietness and Dr. Abdullah's protest, don't know where will Afghan be heading to. Mr. Ghani is out of the play without telling his supporters what the situation is leading to and Dr. Abdullah getting advantageous of the Ministry of Interior and defence, by providing them with the audio records of Amarkhial. One candidate having strong support of such ministries has lead him to get evidence against the other candidate but in reality everybody even there will be audio records for Abdullah's team to hear... but the question is who will get you these audio records of such people if you don't have the support from Ministry of Interior & Defence.

Your thoughts !

Money can buy you happiness

I know some of you will be thinking that how can non tangible thing (happiness) be bought with money. Though, it is evident while looking to your life when you share your money with others by buying them a gift. What you get in return is 'Pleasure'.

While reading this, think about how you spend your money. Everybody including me spend money on things that are for myself but we rarely spend on others. When it comes to females spending money, it's all about buying make-up items or clothes for themselves. Similarly, male spend it on cars, or electronics i.e phone, ipod, laptops. If a latest model of these devices are introduced they bid their old model with even half a price of their purchased amount and go for the new one. I am not against spending money but spending it right.

According to a recent survey conducted at the University of California, people giving money are happier than those who do not give money to others, same applies to countries. A family that is spending money on each other is more happier than the family members that spends money individually for oneself. In the survey it was pointed to Central African Republic where people were not happy as male and female were not spending money on others. Each one was spending on himself/herself. Likewise, two football teams at the California were given money to spend it on what they want. After sometimes, both teams were asked about how the money was spent. In one team each member spent it self while in the other team the members were spending it on others. It was noted that the team which spent money on each other were more developed with new skills and were happier. Spending money on others have good return versa spending money on oneself. Most of the happy people of the world are those who spend money on others (think of a person that you know).

I accept that money can not buy happiness unless you are spending it right. If you are getting $100 U.S. dollars think about how can you benefit others. Only one dollar will not have a negative impact on your budget but will have a huge affect on others and you will find out that you benefit yourself by giving money to others. I am sure, if you start doing this today, you will have a prosperous Afghanistan in the coming years.

Guide to the Right Path

Have you ever thought about your life. What are you doing here and where are you going. It is like you woke up one morning; watched TV to copy clothing, character and make much money as you can for the seek of not to be broke and if you get confused, return to life of drug, alcohol and sex.

Have you thought of the sample life question. What is your purpose and how did you get here. Who made you so perfect and what happens once you die or is this world already worth it. A simple answer would be that there is someone running the system. The founder of the entire planet and of the creature that we can't imagine. There is no camera that can come close to human eyes or a computer that can compete a human mind. If the whole world come together we wouldn't be able to create a single fly. So many science and we still deny. If zero plus zero can not possibly give you one so, from where did this all universe come. Some people come and other leave. Everything has its origin, a maker or a creator. The only reason you are reading this passage is that there is someone who has written/posted this.

Similarly, there is someone who has build this planet and is controlling it. The only one and lasting for ever. He is not a man, a sculpture or part of an association. A man will need food to feed himself, water to quench his thirst. A statue will need a human to be constructed and can be destroyed back but Allah is there for ever.

Like every man of manufacturer, he has left us with a guide, The Quran. The only book with zero contradiction and miracles above the scientific and historical, to a man who could neither read nor read. He would recite as the angle spoke. If you still disbelieve, try to come with something even close but you can not. The disbelievers have struggled a lot and after 1400 years it's the same, with even not a word change.

Don't think this life as the only home to live and die. Though, it is a test of your health, wealth, and everything that you are blessed with. Believe that we all will be brought to our lord one day, known as The Day of Justice. As everything has a creator, Allah is the creator of the world and everything in it. Quran is the guide and the instruction book given to his Great Messenger ''Mohammad' peace be upon him''.

Allah has given you life. Search, read and don't be busy with the temporary which will end one day. Think about those who were kissing you in your eyes or cheeks but there are no longer there. God ties to all who believe on him and if you disbelieve Read Read ….. don't let that day be the first you find out what a life really means.

Bad Habits vs Good Habits

In our lives, sometimes we come across people who have developed habits that are considered to be bad or, at a time, we could be victims of bad habits.
Oneself can not imagine if the habit that he owns is bad or good. Growing in a society where bad habits become tradition, are not considered to be bad habits at all. For example, drinking in Western community is common, easy available product and permissible by law. Everybody drinks in order to feel stress-less. This is more becoming a common culture in such regions. Whereas, in most of other societies (like Muslim gatherings) this is adopted by people with bad characters. A father in such society will not let his son to be with someone who drinks. These peoples do not see drinkers as a good model. Hence, it's not the people but the society that generates such behaviors. On the other hand, if you are growing in a society where everybody is smoking or drinking. How can one grow without it. This will be injected into your blood even if you do not want it. It is quite interesting to note that a bad habit can be left in the same manner in which it was acquired i.e. by associating with people having good habits, by living in societies where bad habits are considered to be bad. At times, people start drinking or smoking under influence of their friends or the society where he is living. If those friends and societies are no longer around and this matter is realized, it becomes easy to get rid of a bad habit and can be differentiated.
